Media and Review Permission

Effective date: July 12, 2026.

This Media and Review Permission (the “Review Permission”) is a standing public permission for journalists, reviewers, educators, creators, customers, and other commentators to cover iisacc and its products without seeking case-by-case approval. Permission does not depend on positive coverage. Honest criticism, comparison, and independent opinion are permitted.

Covered Material and Purpose

This Review Permission applies to publicly accessible iisacc web pages, official product descriptions and documentation, official promotional images made available for a product, and the visible user interface of an iisacc product that the reviewer lawfully obtained and used.

It permits use reasonably necessary for news reporting, reviews, criticism, commentary, comparison, tutorials, demonstrations, academic discussion, and product summaries. It does not apply to private or unreleased material, material supplied under a non-disclosure obligation, license keys, private download links, payment records, customer communications, source code, installers, or third-party content that iisacc does not have authority to license.

Uses Allowed Without Prior Approval

For a covered purpose, a reviewer may:

  • capture and publish screenshots of a publicly accessible iisacc page or a lawfully installed iisacc product;
  • record, edit, and publish screen video, short demonstrations, streams, and excerpts showing the product in use;
  • quote reasonable portions of public product descriptions and documentation;
  • accurately summarize, paraphrase, translate, compare, criticize, or explain public product information;
  • crop, resize, compress, caption, annotate, or blur screenshots and recordings for layout, accessibility, explanation, or privacy;
  • use iisacc and product names, product icons, and logos only as reasonably necessary to identify the subject of the coverage; and
  • publish and monetize the coverage through articles, videos, podcasts, newsletters, social media, broadcasts, courses, or other editorial channels.

There is no fixed screenshot count, clip length, or quotation length. The amount used must be reasonably connected to the coverage and must not substitute for the product, documentation, website, or a separately licensed asset.

Conditions

Coverage must:

  • identify the relevant iisacc product or page accurately and, when the medium reasonably allows, link to https://iisacc.com or the relevant official product page;
  • distinguish the reviewer’s opinions, edits, and conclusions from statements made by iisacc;
  • avoid implying sponsorship, endorsement, certification, partnership, or official status that does not exist;
  • disclose sponsorship, affiliate compensation, free access, or another material relationship when applicable law or the publishing platform requires it;
  • preserve the substance and context of quoted or summarized material and avoid edits that create a materially false product behavior or statement; and
  • respect privacy, publicity, confidentiality, and third-party rights in any files, account details, names, messages, or other information visible during capture.

Negative conclusions do not violate this Review Permission merely because iisacc disagrees with them. A reviewer may use test data, sample documents, or the reviewer’s own files to demonstrate a product, provided the reviewer has the necessary rights to that material.

Uses Not Allowed by This Permission

This Review Permission does not permit a reviewer to:

  • distribute, mirror, upload, resell, or provide an installer, executable, license key, access token, private download link, source file, or reusable product asset;
  • bypass payment, authentication, activation, access controls, signatures, or technical protection measures;
  • publish credentials, personal information, confidential information, security-sensitive details, or another person’s material without authority;
  • extract screenshots, recordings, text, icons, or product imagery into a stock library, template pack, dataset, training corpus, or substitute documentation set;
  • use iisacc names, product names, logos, icons, or interface presentation as the identity of another product, service, domain, account, or business;
  • alter captures or quotations in a way that fabricates product behavior, falsely attributes a statement, or otherwise misleads viewers about what was reviewed; or
  • state or imply that iisacc approved the review or its conclusions unless iisacc gave that approval in writing.

Product Demonstrations and User Content

A reviewer is responsible for all user-created or third-party material visible in a demonstration. Private information should be removed or blurred before publication. Reviewers should use their own sample content whenever practical.

Screenshots and recordings of an End Product that uses assets under the iisacc Free Digital Asset License may be shown under that license. This Review Permission does not turn a reusable asset, product icon, installer, or other source material into a freely redistributable file.

Priority and Relationship to Other Terms

For screenshots, recordings, quotations, translations, and summaries made within the scope above, this Review Permission controls over conflicting restrictions in the general iisacc License and Terms of Service. Those general terms continue to govern site access and every activity outside the permission expressly granted here.

A product-specific EULA continues to govern installation and use of the software. The iisacc Free Digital Asset License governs reuse of the six Covered Assets identified there. Third-party licenses and platform rules continue to govern third-party material. This Review Permission supplements legal exceptions and limitations that may apply; it does not reduce rights a reviewer already has under applicable law.

Duration and Updates

This Review Permission applies while the coverage complies with these terms. iisacc may publish a revised version for future uses, but a compliant publication made under the version in effect when it was published may remain available. Permission terminates for material that exceeds this scope or violates these conditions, without limiting any opportunity to correct an unintentional error.

Contact

Questions about uses outside this Review Permission may be sent to andudyun0504@gmail.com. Editorial independence does not require advance review by iisacc, and iisacc does not require a reviewer to send draft coverage for approval.
