Free Digital Asset License

Effective date: July 12, 2026.

This Free Digital Asset License (the “Asset License”) grants permission to use only the Covered Assets identified below. It is a license, not a sale or transfer of copyright. iisacc and the applicable rights holders retain ownership of the Covered Assets and reserve every right not expressly granted here.

Covered Assets

This Asset License applies only to the following six files offered from the GD-like Game Assets page:

  • Ship Vector (GDLikeGame-ship.svg)
  • Skyline Trees (Trees1.webp)
  • Mid Trees (Trees2.webp)
  • Mountain Line (Mountain.webp)
  • Grass Foreground A (Grass1.webp)
  • Grass Foreground B (Grass2.webp)

The GD Icon source listed on that page is an external, third-party reference and is not a Covered Asset. This Asset License also does not apply to iisacc software, installers, source code, product icons, logos, trademarks, website design, documentation, screenshots, or any other material unless a page expressly identifies that material as a Covered Asset. Third-party material remains subject to its own license and terms.

Permission Granted

Subject to continued compliance with this Asset License, iisacc grants each recipient a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

  • download, copy, and use the Covered Assets in personal, educational, editorial, or commercial projects;
  • modify the Covered Assets, including by recoloring, cropping, resizing, animating, layering, combining, or otherwise adapting them;
  • incorporate original or modified Covered Assets into a game, application, website, video, presentation, publication, illustration, or other end product that includes independent creative or functional value (an “End Product”);
  • distribute, sell, license access to, display, perform, stream, market, and otherwise make an End Product available; and
  • publish screenshots, recordings, trailers, portfolio entries, case studies, and other showcases of an End Product that visibly includes the Covered Assets.

An End Product may technically deliver a Covered Asset as part of normal operation, including inside an application package or as a browser-loaded game resource. That delivery is permitted when the Covered Asset is presented only as part of the End Product and is not offered as a reusable source asset, stock item, or separate download.

The license is perpetual for uses made in compliance with these terms. Removal of a Covered Asset from the website does not terminate a license that was validly received before removal.

Attribution

Attribution is not required. When credits are practical, attribution is appreciated in the following form: “GD-like Game Assets by iisacc” with a link to https://iisacc.com/Contents/GDLikeGameAssets.

Attribution must not imply that iisacc endorses, sponsors, certifies, or is affiliated with the user or the End Product. A user must not register or use iisacc names, product names, logos, or other identifiers as a trademark, product identity, domain name, or account name.

User Work and Showcases

The user retains all rights the user may hold in the user’s original code, artwork, writing, design, and other contributions to an End Product. This Asset License does not transfer ownership of those contributions to iisacc.

Users may publicly showcase and monetize their End Products and may permit reviewers, customers, and audiences to view screenshots or recordings of those End Products. iisacc does not receive permission to reuse a user’s End Product, screenshots, recordings, name, or testimonial in iisacc marketing merely because the End Product contains a Covered Asset. Separate permission from the user is required for such reuse.

Restrictions

The user must not:

  • sell, resell, share, upload, sublicense, or redistribute an original or modified Covered Asset by itself, as an asset pack, as stock media, or in any form whose primary value is the reusable asset;
  • include a Covered Asset in a template, editor, library, repository, download bundle, or other product in a way that lets recipients extract or reuse it as a source asset;
  • claim authorship or exclusive ownership of a Covered Asset, or register the Covered Asset itself as a trademark;
  • use a Covered Asset or its presentation to falsely imply iisacc sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or official status;
  • remove or obscure a license notice or rights notice supplied with a Covered Asset;
  • use the Covered Assets as training data, evaluation data, or an input collection for a machine-learning or generative model; or
  • use the Covered Assets in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Changing a file’s colors, size, format, composition, or other visual properties does not convert it into a source asset that may be resold or redistributed. If the End Product’s primary purpose is to provide the Covered Asset or a substitute for it, the use is not permitted.

Priority and Relationship to Other Terms

For the six Covered Assets and the uses expressly granted above, this Asset License controls over conflicting restrictions in the general iisacc License and Terms of Service. The general License and Terms of Service continue to govern access to the website and every material or activity outside this Asset License’s express scope.

The iisacc Media and Review Permission controls screenshots, recordings, quotations, and summaries made for product coverage. A product-specific EULA controls the installation and use of iisacc software. Third-party terms control third-party material. Nothing in this Asset License expands rights in software, product identity, private material, or third-party content.

Termination

This Asset License terminates automatically for a user who breaches its terms. After termination, the user must stop new use and distribution of the Covered Assets and remove standalone copies offered in violation. If the breach can be cured and the user fully cures it within 14 days after becoming aware of it, the license is reinstated once for that breach. Repeated or intentional violations are not eligible for automatic reinstatement.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Covered Assets are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, or continued availability, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iisacc and the applicable rights holders will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or costs of substitute assets arising from the Covered Assets or this Asset License. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by mandatory law.
